Olivia, the Curator and President of TEDxPSU, is a fourth year studying Actuarial Science in the Smeal College of Business. She also acts as the Director of Finance for the Penn State Actuarial Science Club and is involved in recruitment and mentorship for her major. Outside of school, Olivia enjoys decorating cakes, solving variant sudokus, and attending local theater productions.

Emily, Vice President and Content Director, is a fourth year Meteorology major in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, with minors in French and GIS. She is on the board of PSU’s branch of the American Meteorological Society and involved in Jewish life on campus. In her free time, Emily likes to read, go for walks, and attend Penn State sporting events.

Grace, Treasurer and Photographer, is a senior in the Smeal College of Business, majoring in Accounting and Management Information Systems. She serves as a student contact team member for the University Park Allocation Committee, helping support student organizations. Outside of academics, Grace enjoys volunteering at Abba Java Coffeehouse and expressing her creativity through painting and drawing.

 

Aryan, Marketing Director, is a third-year Management Information Systems student in the Smeal College of Business. He serves as Treasurer for the Penn State Management Information Systems Association and contributes to the campus community as a Residence Assistant. Aryan is passionate about cars and exploring new places. In his free time, you can find Aryan binge-watching movies, listening to music or spending time with his friends

 

Abigail, Operations Director, is a fourth-year student studying Psychology in the College of Liberal Arts, with a minor in Kinesiology. She is a research assistant in the Semantics, Aphasia, and Neural Dynamics Laboratory (SANDlab) and a Penn State Club Triathlon Team member. Outside of school, Abigail enjoys playing with her two dogs and volunteering at local sporting events.

 

Karena, Operations Co-Director, is a second-year student studying Kinesiology with a minor in Rehabilitation and Human Services. She is a Schreyer Honors Scholar, a Phi Eta Sigma National Honors Society member, in the HHD Honors Society, and is a Peer-Assistant for the College of Health and Human Development. In her free time, you can find Karena bullet journaling, going on walks with her roommate, and baking. 

 

Zemra, Marketing Co-Director, is a senior in the Smeal College of Business majoring in Marketing with minors in Supply Chain and Information Sciences and Technology. She serves as the Marketing and Communications intern for Penn State’s Intern Pipeline Links to Navy Engineering (PIPELINE) Program, where she is the team’s sole marketing representative. In her free time, she teaches ceramics at the Center for Arts and Crafts and enjoys traveling, hiking, and sushi.

 

Nicolas, Partnerships Director, is a junior studying Industrial Engineering at Penn State. He is passionate about forging meaningful connections and securing sponsorships to support TEDxPSU’s mission. Beyond his role, Nicolas has experience in data analytics, supply chain optimization, and strategic planning. Outside of school, he enjoys traveling, playing soccer and basketball, and exploring different cuisines.
