Known as the "sign of the times," Zeitgeist is a German philosophical term referring to the defining spirit or mood of a particular time or culture. TEDxPSU 2026: Zeitgeist calls speakers to dive deep into the transformative ideas and moments defining our time, sparking conversations about how history, innovation, and our shared human experience create the spirit of now. It inspires us to question how the subtle currents of our environment influence our visions of the future and challenges us to use the momentum of our present moment to share ideas that create meaningful change.

 

This year, at TEDxPSU 2026: Zeitgeist, eleven speakers will share their ideas across fashion and technology, education and biology, and more. After the conference, a complementary post-conference reception will be available to all attendees, where you can eat, drink, and speak with the speakers, the TEDxPSU team, and other attendees about the ideas you heard, keeping momentum in the conversations inspired by our speakers. ​
